Jokes apart. Microsoft is going to end the support to R and Python based visuals using “Embed for your customers” from May 2026 onwards. It could be a strategic move by Microsoft to promote copilot and other upcoming developments related to involvement of AI based features in Power BI.
One the other hand Microsoft is promoting SVG image customization. Microsoft has introduced Synoptic Panel by OKVIZ for SVG image based customization. Using this one can transform any SVG image into an interactive visual. Perfect for floor plans, organizational charts, technical layouts, or geographical maps. Features flexible image loading, multi-level navigation, dynamic switching, Map Editor and Label Designer, advanced coloring, map search, and integrated security. Offcourse addition of this feature is a great improvement.
